YOGA TEACHER & MEDITATION GUIDE

My journey into yoga began in 2008 with the discovery and study of advanced meditation practices. The depth of this connection to ancient teaching and techniques both stirred and fueled my development within yoga. From this beginning, I completed formal Yoga Teacher training in 2009 and continued on to become a fully trained and broadly experienced Teacher, Instructor, and Meditation Guide. 

I teach yoga postures, breath-work, cleansing practices, meditation, and deep relaxation as vehicles to create more strength, balance, and bliss.  In posture work, there is an emphasis on movement combined with breath, to compliment the natural movement and state of the human system.

My background spans several traditions of yoga including, Hatha, Raja, Kriya and Tantra. I regularly travel to India to refresh and reconnect with the energies and the home of yoga. My teaching blends techniques firmly rooted in these classical traditions with my background and skills as a professional counselor.

My extended training  includes Natal Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Mantra, Advanced Meditation, and Pranic Healing.  I teach specialty workshops, group classes, individuals, and on holistic yoga retreats. I delight in introducing the joy and power of yoga to beginners as much as I love to support advanced practitioners to extend their practice.
